Please note these are general recommendations, as individual dogs—even within the same breed—can vary in size. For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring your dog or their current bed and comparing those measurements to the crate dimensions.
For puppies and smaller adult dog breeds, consider our small and medium dog crates. These smaller sizes will conveniently fit into the boot or backseat of most cars plus you can easily find a place for them to live in your home.
They are lightweight, making them portable for one person to move. Some customers also use these sizes for transporting small animals, including cats, rabbits and chickens.
For mini breeds like a Chihuahua, Toy Poodle or Yorkie, we recommend our Small 24” Crate. For small breeds like a French Bulldog, Jack Russell and Shih Tzus, we recommend our Medium 30” Crate.
For medium to large dog breeds, check out our large dog crates. This size will fit in the back of most cars if your seats fold down flat. When measuring if a crate will fit in your car, make sure to measure the boot door as some have narrow openings that may not allow the crate through.
We recommend our Large 36” Crate for a Beagle, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Dachshund or dogs that are a similar size.
Our XL and XXL dog crates offer space for big dog breeds to move, lie down and turn around comfortably.
For large breeds like a Border Collie, Labrador or Standard Poodle, we recommend our XL 42” Crate. For really big breeds like a German Shepherd, Husky or Mastiff, try the XXL 48” Crate, which is one of the biggest crates available in Australia.
